A community-driven nonprofit dedicated to uplifting the people of Baltimore City bridging the gap between underserved populations and the services they need to thrive.
We Care Baltimore is a community-driven nonprofit rooted in the belief that every person deserves access to resources, opportunity, and genuine support. Our name is an acronym Women, Elderly, Children, Adults, Residents, and Employers representing every person we serve.
Founded in October 2003 by the late Dorothy Gathers and Stephanie Poplar to bridge the gap between underserved communities and essential services, we show up every day for Baltimore City and surrounding communities.
